Cap'n Rasty's Skiffle City Rockers are bringing their eclectic musical mayhem to STACK Lincoln! This threadbare minstrel and his talentless ensemble of three-chord chancers are ready to serenade the lost and lonely with their unique blend of pop, rock, indie, country, folk, disco, reggae and more. From heartfelt love songs to rousing sea shanties and punk anthems, all delivered with a skiffling twist, this is live music that doesn't take itself too seriously.
Join us at STACK Lincoln, a magnificent two-storey venue housed in the historic St Marks railway station on Lincoln High Street. What was once the Midland Railway's first station in Lincoln, opened in 1846, has been beautifully restored into a modern live music space with a festival-sized stage and excellent viewing throughout. Situated on Lincoln High Street this venue holds 2,162 people. Its an indoor venue in the old St Marks railway station. The St Marks railway station was the first in Lincoln. It was opened by the Midland Railway in 1846. The platforms were later demolished and it was 1985 when it closed completely. The main station was incorporated into a shopping complex before been taken over by Argos. The building will now reopen as Stack venue The venue is a two floor operation with a festival size stage with excellent viewing of the main stage area. The venue supplies sound and lighting along with a sound tec for all gigs.
