Venues’ Frequently Asked Questions with GigPig
Our online booking and management tool will give you everything you need to book and manage your gigs in one place.
At GigPig, our goal is to connect venues and bookers with incredible local talent at an affordable price with zero fuss. Music is all about making the right connections, and GigPig is the platform that can make that happen.
We know that the music industry is tough, which is why we pride ourselves on offering transparent pricing structures for venues.
Whether you’re booking a band or want to book a sax player, our booking costs will always be straightforward:
- Pay as you go: £15 per gig
- Standard access: £199 (per month) for up to 20 gigs per month
- Enterprise access: £349 (per month) for up to 60 gigs per month
DJ booking cost depends on multiple factors, such as:
- Experience: Established DJs usually present higher booking rates.
- Event details: The cost to book DJs can increase depending on set length and start and finish times (also accounting for equipment set-up and breakdown).
- Date of booking: If you want to book a DJ for a weekend or bank holiday night, these slots often come at a premium.
A very fair question! And the answer is, no, not unless you’d like to.
We have professional musicians available to book on GigPig, which means many of our DJs are confident enough to read the room and shape the set to suit the crowd. That said, our DJs always welcome suggestions if you’re after a specific genre or style for your venue. You can outline any preferences your venue has directly within the gig template on the GigPig app, so everything is clear from the start.
Us too! We are from the music community, and are a start up with a passion to contribute back to the industry we love. We want people like you to help shape who we are today and what we become. We built GigPig for bookers, venues&artists and we will continue to listen to our community on how we can improve.
