Live Lounge Duo is coming to The Oast House Bar & Restaurant in Manchester. The Manchester-based two-piece, Danny Lee and Gary Kirk, deliver an acoustic experience that punches well above its weight. Armed with specially designed guitars that create percussive elements and a kick drum effect, they craft a sound reminiscent of a full band, all whilst keeping things beautifully unplugged and intimate.
From the grooves of the 70s and 80s to Britpop classics, soul standards, and modern indie, Live Lounge Duo's vast repertoire spans pop, rock n roll, funk, R&B and beyond. What sets them apart is their ability to read the room and tailor every performance to their audience, meaning no two gigs are ever quite the same. This is live music in its truest form, where the music does the talking.

Danny Lee & Gary Kirk formed Live Lounge Duo in 2011. Sharing the same passion and musical interests, Live Lounge Duo quickly became their main project. Their unique style simply consists of two acoustic guitars and their vocals, taking the music back to it's unplugged form and letting the music speak for itself. Using specially designed guitars to enhance percussive elements, a kick drum effect and some careful creativity, this duo sounds more like a 3 or 4 piece band. Versatility plays a huge part as every gig is different, with being completely live and having a vast track list to pick from. These guys read the room and play to the audience, making every gig unique and different every time.
