Hey, my name is Shane! I am a full time South Yorkshire based, solo acoustic singer songwriter My set list includes a wide range of genres including 60s/70s/80s/90s, Indie, Irish, Rock, Country, Pop I started singing at University, starting at open mics, moving quickly onto part time gigging at pubs/ bars/ weddings/ private events, to most recently being a solo guest entertainer on a 6 month cruise ship around the world. I visited countries such as Texas, Mexico, New York, Jamaica, Iceland, Miami, Portugal, Canada, and made connections with people all over the world, which opened up some exciting plans for the future. Now I am back in the UK, and gigging full time, I am excited to continue travelling and singing at new venues. When I am not performing, I am normally at home writing new songs and one of my goals for 2025 is to record and release more originals. I won best original song at Open Mic UK, which took me to perform at the O2 in London where I was awarded 3rd place. Most recently, I organised and performed at my first ticketed event, in my home town Barnsley, which sold out 250 tickets, and I am in the process of organising the next.
