The Legacy

The Legacy is an up-tempo/ upbeat, high-octane, party anthems band! World cup anthems also provided for the summer this year a part of our brilliant set. Fresh from recording at the BBC in Media City dock house studios (Please see the samples below) as part of Summer Sounds of the city. The main musical influences come from Manchester bands such as the Stone Roses, Joy Division/ New Order, Oasis, James, and The Courteeners, to name but a few. We are used to hosting as a wedding band, inclusive of festivals and corporate events also. We love performing a wide range of hits, party anthems, and floor fillers ranging from classic 60's, 70's, 80's, and 90's, 00's rock and roll/pop feel-good party anthems. This ranges right up to present-day modern music. The main genres we focus on are Indie, Rock and roll, R&B, Soul, and Dance music. Our very talented musicians are flexible and adaptable - We have our own Instruments/ gear/ rig/ and PA at our disposal to use as and when, which is all fully PAT tested. We can also DI into the mixing desk if applicable. Liability Insurance for any hotel or certain public gigs available upon request. We can take requested songs in advance of gigs and are seasoned performers at Festivals and shows throughout the UK and Europe. We also transition into songs for Festivals for speed, especially within an hour-long set. Venues normally request 2 x 45-minute sets, but we have set lists for 3+ hours if needed. We serve a selection of Cask Marque accredited ales and lagers, and we are all committed to providing you with the best service possible. The Brook underwent refurbishment back in July 2019 that has now given us a proper pub atmosphere with a lounge and upstairs seating areas. You can enjoy all live Sky Sports throughout the pub and even outside in our new patio area. We run a number of trips from the Brook – one being to all Sale Sharks home games. Our room upstairs can be hired out for small functions such as Christenings, Funerals or Meetings (Free wi-fi available). The Brook has a lot to offer with a fantastic welcome from the team.
