The Maverick Rejects are a high energy, party rock trio who’ve spent over a decade bringing their unique brand of Pop, Indie & Rock N’ Roll to packed dancefloors everywhere. Founded on the commitment that the role of a band should be more than just serving up super-polished versions of Sex on Fire, The Maverick Rejects aim to offer a set alive with interactivity, fun and quirky arrangements of songs you love … just probably never as you’ve heard them before! They’ve got Beatles, Green Day, The Kinks, Kaiser Chiefs, Queen, Status Quo, Beach Boys, ABBA, Arctic Monkeys, Elvis, Sum41, Foo Fighters, Chuck Berry, The Fratellis, CCR, Sam Fender, The Jam, The Proclaimers, Blink-182 … even Girls Aloud, Shania Twain and Disney Songs for good measure!
Situated on Lincoln High Street this venue holds 2,162 people. Its an indoor venue in the old St Marks railway station. The St Marks railway station was the first in Lincoln. It was opened by the Midland Railway in 1846. The platforms were later demolished and it was 1985 when it closed completely. The main station was incorporated into a shopping complex before been taken over by Argos. The building will now reopen as Stack venue The venue is a two floor operation with a festival size stage with excellent viewing of the main stage area. The venue supplies sound and lighting along with a sound tec for all gigs.
