I’m Ashley James/DJ Name AJSELEKTA, a DJ, radio host and presenter with a real love for music that started from a young age. Music has always been a big part of my life, and DJing gives me the chance to share that passion with other people and create an atmosphere where everyone can enjoy themselves. I started DJing because I’ve always loved discovering different sounds, bringing people together through music and seeing the reaction when a good tune comes on. For me, it’s not just about playing tracks — it’s about reading the room, creating a vibe and making sure people leave having had a great experience. I’ve had the opportunity to play at a range of venues and events, including Union Vauxhall, where I’ve opened and closed the club, as well as Brixton Radio, where I’ve played on three occasions. I’ve also performed at Muncher Muster in Leicester Square twice and Jungle in Camden. My style is versatile, energetic and focused on keeping people moving. I’m always looking to bring my own energy while adapting to the crowd and the event. I’m passionate about music, passionate about entertaining people and always looking for the next opportunity to grow, perform and create unforgettable moments behind the decks.
