By The Old Tolbooth are Henry, on guitar and vocals, and Ciara, on vocals, bodhran (Irish hand drum), and whistle. We are passionate about finding well-known songs, putting our own twist on them, and sharing them with people who love music. We also have an extensive Scottish, English, and Irish folk repertoire, including purely instrumental pieces. We can vary our set-list based on what the venue requires. In our repertoire you'll find anything from modern pop songs from Lady Gaga, to old hits from the Ronettes and the Ink Spots, and traditional classics like Raglan Road and Are you Sleeping Maggie. We focus on adding tight harmonies and nice instrumentals, and we very much enjoy what we do.
Bar Home is a stylish and lively bar nestled in Glasgow’s trendy Merchant City, located at 80 Albion Street. Known for its versatile atmosphere, the venue offers a relaxed setting during weekdays and transforms into a vibrant hotspot with resident DJs on weekends. The bar features a diverse food menu, including stone-baked pizzas, classic burgers, and hearty pub fare. Notably, they offer a boozy brunch with options like hand-stretched sourdough pizzas and tropical cocktails. Drink deals are available throughout the week, with cocktails only £5 Monday to Thursday.
