About the Artist

Chris Cresham is one of Ireland’s most promising up-and-coming artists. He builds his songs around strong storytelling. Every song holds genuine meaning, shaped by the lives and experiences of people close to him, sometimes in their perspective, sometimes in his. The Mayo singer-songwriter has spent recent months between Berlin and London writing and recording with some of the industry’s best talent, including Cam Blackwood (Produced Shotgun, Paradise by George Ezra, Tom Walker, Gavin James), Charlie T (Credits including Myles Smith, Whitney Houston) and Adam Argyle (Credits include Dua Lipa, James Arthur, Harry Styles). He is currently working very closely with producer Patrick O’Donnell (who produced some of Kingfishr biggest tracks) with a raw, energetic sound rooted in live instrumentation. Named Wildcard Award Winner at the Hot Press Irish Music Month National Final 2024. With over 400,000 Spotify streams, 25,000 monthly listeners, airplay on 2FM, iRadio and Today FM, and a recent placement on Spotify UK’s Common Thread playlist alongside Noah Kahan, Kingfishr and Dermot Kennedy, his reach continues to grow. He recently made his debut at the Ruby Sessions last week to strong praise on their socials, and is set to perform and be interviewed on 2FM Drive with Laura Fox and Katja Mia. Live, he has supported Allie Sherlock, Lyra and plays his first ever headline show at Whelan’s on 9 October through MCD. On TikTok his content has passed over 15 million views and 39,000 followers.
