About this event

Chris Small, the multi-instrumentalist and versatile vocalist based in Perth, Scotland, is bringing his eclectic repertoire to City Walls in Stirling. As a freelance musician with a passion for spanning genres—from Motown and Jazz to Country, Blues, Reggae, and everything in between—Chris specialises in unearthing the gems you haven't heard in years. Expect an evening of genuinely memorable music that ranges across decades and styles.

Nestled through Stirling's historic 16th-century city wall, City Walls offers the perfect intimate setting for a night of live entertainment. This characterful conversion of an old ironmongers' warehouse blends ancient architecture with modern warmth, drawing in everyone from curious tourists to dedicated music lovers. With plenty of space to settle in downstairs or enjoy the upstairs beer garden overlooking King's Park, you'll find the ideal spot to enjoy Chris's wide-ranging set.

Whether you're a devoted follower of live music or simply keen for an evening of quality entertainment in a proper Scottish venue, Chris Small at City Walls promises something refreshingly different. Pop in, settle down with a Belhaven Best, and discover why this performer's genuine love for musical variety makes for such engaging gigs.

About the Artist

I'm a multi-instrumentalist and freelance musician based in Perth, Scotland. I try to cover as wide an array of music as possible when it comes to gigs, preferring to find songs people may not have heard in a while, which can make for some memorable gigs.

About the Venue

Many pubs take their name from a point of interest somewhere vaguely in the area, but not The City Walls: the only way into this large and lively bar is through the city wall itself. An archway through Stirling's 16th-century defences leads you into a fascinating conversion of what was once an ironmongers' warehouse. The combination of ancient and modern attracts a classy crowd, whether they be tourists, families, locals, office workers, sports fans or weekend party lovers. Whoever you are, there's plenty of room - including the upstairs beer garden where you can enjoy your Belhaven Best with a view over King's Park
