Coffee and Turntables

Coffee and Turntables is DJ duo Ivan Thunders (Thee Lucifer Sams / Liverpool Psychedelic Society) and Pete Martin (The Welcome Addition / Hefty Tomatoes podcasts) who started it in 2018 as the original Liverpool Baltic Triangle street party – with DJs spinning vinyl records throughout the Summer, bang on Jamaica Street. We're now pleased to be expanding nationwide! NOTE: WE CAN TAILOR OR SETS ACCORDING TO THE OCCASION AND ALSO DO DIGITAL SETS TOO. Wherever we play we bring great vibes and good times... often playing songs you never heard but always loved. No Requests. Trust the DJ! Good vibes guaranteed. Since our first event in 2018, we became the most “shazammed” DJs in Liverpool… true story! PLEASE NOTE: we are NOT your usual hack DJs. No requests (unless on special occasions... we ARE nice!) No club classics. No Ibiza rave stuff. But we can do last minute gigs on CDJ and tailor the playlist to any client's like, if required. We do our own kinda crazy mix... from Soul to Tropicalia to Afrobeat to contemporary RnB. Whatever... but it ALWAYS works. Precisely because it's not what people expect or are used to.
