Conor & The GreensKeepers are a Manchester based jazz-collective and creative community. Discovered by Giles Peterson’s Future Bubblers, they have rapidly risen through the city’s grassroots scene, becoming a pillarstone of Manchester’s musical landscape. Rooted in nu-jazz and hip-hop, the band effortlessly fuses RnB, funk, afrobeat and garage into a dynamic, genre blending live experience. The Greenskeepers have headlined major festivals, played at some of Manchester’s most iconic venues and are now expanding into the world of function and private events. Band Set up and Function Gig experience At their fullest, Conor & The Greenskeepers is a twelve person ensemble which includes a 3 piece horn section, percussionist, vocal section and dancer. Our line up is flexible as to suit the occasion, we are happy and comfortable performing in any ensemble size, from a vocal jazz quartet to the full band experience. The band is confident performing a large range of genres, as indicated by the setlist included below. Conor & The Greenskeepers currently have a residency at Soho House Manchester, playing jazz/neosoul set as a quartet/quintet once a month. The band have also played: hiphop sets for ‘Side Street’ industry mixer nights, Sunday jazz at Mala, at Akin Supper Clubs in ‘New Cross’, exclusive gigs for the residents of Moda living’s ‘Angel Meadows’ campus and had a residency at Ducie Street Warehouse. Independent gigs and Festivals Residents of Valdo Jazz Festival in Italy and graduates of Giles Peterson's Future Bubblers. Conor & The GreensKeepers are known for show stopping, genre hopping performances rooted in jazz, hip hop and RnB. The Manchester based outfit headlined Manchester Jazz Festival in '24 and partnered with MJF in ’25. They have played some of Manchester’s biggest venues such as Gorilla, supporting Cosmo Pyke; Band on the Wall Mainstage, supporting Jemba Groove and Matt and Phreds, headlining 2024 ‘Beyond the Music’ festival. The band has also taken the stage in London, playing a set in the world renowned ‘Jazz Cafe’. The band’s most recent festival appearances highlight their significance and intrinsicality within the Manchester Music scene, they include: Greenisland 2025 Mainstage, Manchester International Festival 2025, Moovin Festival 2024 Mainstage. Alongside this, Conor & The Greenskeepers have made their mark in the wider UK festival scene, appearing in; Wilderness Festival 2024 Future Bubblers Stage, Eldorado Festival 2023, Great Escape Festival 2023 and We Out Here 2022. Live recordings, covers and The GK jam The bands’ YouTube cover series, ‘We’ve got it covered’, highlights their ease in dealing with chart toppers. Conor & The Greenskeepers reimagine songs in a way that keeps the essence and groove of the song alive, with a Greenskeepers twist that audiences keep coming back for. Alongside their own projects, Conor & The Greenskeepers have partaken in some of Manchester’s best regarded live recording opportunities. These include being invited to record in ‘Low Four Studio’ as part of their ‘Raise the Bar’ YouTube series, a featured live recording and interview with ‘Gigpig’ and being recorded as part Brownswood Basement sessions. Conor & The GreensKeepers are a staple of the Manchester Music scene. They have been instrumental in cultivating the Nu Jazz community in Manchester with their weekly event, The GreensKeepers Jam.
