DJ Jack has 30 years' experience playing a diverse range of world music that blurs geographical boundaries and has its roots on the dancefloor. With a passion for international sounds, DJ Jack fuses an all-vinyl blend of latin, funk, soul, jazz, afrobeat, house, electronica, hip-hop, reggae, dub and anything inbetween. In the belief that good music transcends genre 'labelling' and mixing old with new, he provides an authentic musical journey that creates a unique and sophisticated soundtrack for your venue. Over the years, DJ Jack has held UK residencies mainly across Edinburgh and Glasgow and played various venues from intimate bars and clubs up to larger venues as well as private functions, gallery spaces, restaurants, shops and small festivals. DJ Jack has previously held an international radio show residency on Radio Buena Vida, played international bar venues (e.g. Deaf Shop, Thailand and Nami, Auckland) and has also played for Le Mellotron global radio (Paris) and Most FM radio (New Zealand)
