About the Artist

DJ Munks has been playing for over 20 years starting in Mumbai with House & Bollywood genres. With a Masters in Sound Engineering and Music Production from Cardiff, he has recorded many bands in the studio. He is now based in London & regularly DJs at club nights, weddings, corporate events & high street pubs across UK & Europe. He has been a weekly Friday night resident DJ on BBC Radio for over 4 years! He is the resident DJ at a number of venues in London including The Palm House Victoria, All Bar One LeicesterSquare/Windsor/Victoria/Oxford Street, Pergola on the Wharf, The Prince, The Florist & more . He specialises in commercial hits, party favourites, Bollywood, House, Hip-Hop, Garage, RnB, Bhangra, Afro house, Afro beats and classics. Known for his smooth mixing across genres, building a vibe and reading the crowd perfectly at every gig has taken him around the world with performances in Canada, Turkey, India, Cyprus, Switzerland, Denmark & South Africa. He is considered to be the best Bollywood DJ in the UK as announced on BBC Radio 2014 & has been the resident Friday night DJ on the most heard Asian Radio Show outside India – ‘The Big Desi Show’ with Bobby Friction on BBC Asian Network for over 4 years. He has performed with artists including Kelly Rowland, Jay Sean, Raghav, Panjabi MC, Dr. Zeus, RDB, Juggy D, Lisa Mafia, Imran Khan, Nihal, H-Dhami, Rishi Rich, DJ Jamie Duggan and many more.

About the Venue

Situated on the site of one of Englands oldest pubs, with evidence of pints being sold as early as 1533, we have tried our best to continue that authentic feel of a London pub whilst bringing the fun of a 21st century night out to the heart of Wandsworth.
