’EMMA’ is the groovy alter ego of Manchester based DJ and Producer Emma Clair. Known for crafting genre fluid sets that span a multitude of eclectic grooves this girl really knows her music...Add to this Emma’s passion for crate digging and the result is a DJ who loves to push the genre boundaries. EMMA is one the most passionate and hardworking DJs you’ll ever meet. Highly experienced at playing extended sets, building the vibe from day to night and comfortable playing both foreground and background music. A regular on the Manchester bar circuit, EMMA has played at some of the most established venues in the City. One of her most notable achievements; a long standing residency on The Ivy Rooftop and Ivy Asia playing groovy disco, deep and melodic house. Learning to mix on vinyl in the late 2000s gave EMMA a deep understanding and grasp on the fundamentals of music and something that has stayed with her today. Throughout her career she’s played alongside some of the most respected names in house music, including Marshall Jefferson, Utah Saints and K Klass. EMMA isn’t just a house music DJ , she often plays credible open format sets and holds a residency at Flight Club and Electric Shuffle, Leeds playing 7 hour sets spanning everything from funk and disco to jazz hop, indie, electronic and popular music. In short EMMA is a DJ who has never given up on pursuing her dreams and has successfully carved a path for herself working as a professional DJ.
Located in the shadow of the historic Manchester Town Hall on Albert Square, Founder’s Hall is a place to meet, eat and drink. With the Brewery at the heart of the business, paying homage to the Founders and (nearly) 200 years of history in brewing, Founder’s Hall showcases a vast range of cask ales, craft lagers, traditional brews and small batch Boilerhouse beers. The food has been carefully crafted to complement the line up on the bar, with something to suit every palate; from bar snacks to home made, hand pressed pies and, of course, the best of JW Lees pub dishes.
