“You had me captivated. That was incredible… a 10/10 performance.” - RAYE (BBC Got What It Takes 2020). Georgie’s singing journey started when she was 6 years old and began performing in the annual talent contests and Christmas/Summer stage performances at her primary school. This quickly became her main passion in life which only grew throughout her secondary school years whilst performing at various school events as well as entering many of the local talent contests where she started to perfect her craft. As well as winning several local events, Georgie was a finalist on ‘Teen Star’ where she was scouted and asked to audition for the hit ITV show ‘The Voice - Kids’. There she had the pleasure and challenge of singing to WILL.I.AM, Pixie Lott, Danny Jones (McFly) and Jessie J and took a lot with her from the experience. At 14 years old Georgie entered the BBC singing competition show ‘Got what it takes’ which in March 2020 she ended up winning with much positive praise from judges Raye, MNEK and Melvin Odoom. Due to this, Georgie was invited to sing at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend but unfortunately this had to be postponed until 2022 due to the Covid pandemic. This break didn’t deter her and she spent this time learning a new set of cover songs as well as building her social media presence posting regular video content. She also started to work on writing her own music and began to work alongside local recording studios, producers and songwriters. After a long-anticipated wait, Georgie finally got to perform on the main stage at BBC Radio 1’s ‘Big Weekend’ in Coventry in May 2022 to an audience of 25,000 people. Sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in pop music including: Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris, Anne-Marie, Aitch and Yungblud. Georgie also got involved with the National Entertainment Awards where she won multiple awards in her region resulting in her performing at their national events at the o2, London in November 2024 and October 2025, as well as being invited to sing at their first internation event in Las Vegas in October 2026. Over the last three years Georgie has built up a good number of venues which she regularly performs at as well as singing at numerous private parties and weddings. She continues to amaze crowds wherever she goes with her unique vocal talent and versatility across various music genres and is currently working on her debut single in the studio, with plans of releasing it later in the year across all major digital platforms. So keep an eye out for updates over the next few months.
