My name is Jonny, and I'm a professional saxophonist based in Edinburgh. I started playing the saxophone when I was just 12 years old and instantly fell in love with playing it. I practiced for hours and hours every day, oftentimes driving anyone in the house nuts! I got my first gig when I was 15, at the famous Treehouse Restaurant in Alnwick. It gave me my first taste of doing music as a profession, and since then I have been hooked! I am 28 years old and have been playing professionally for 12 years. Throughout that time, I have performed all around the world, from performing after Jess Glynne at the launch of the TUI discovery, to playing with multiple high-profile DJs, meeting & playing for Bob Reynolds (saxophonist for John Mayer and Snarky Puppy) in America and even performing for King Charles at a private garden party. I'm incredibly grateful to be doing what I love and bring that passion and energy to every performance I give.
