Thank you for your interest in Klones. Our price includes PA, lighting & disco / background music to cover any breaks. Our 5 piece band comes with live extended ceilidh option. It is our standard set-up for weddings and corporate functions. We can extend this set-up to a 6, 7 or 8 piece band if desirable. Our repertoire covers all genres from rock, pop, soul, traditional and include some of the best floor fillers from the 1950’s to present day. The core 4 piece group is made up from: Drums, Lead vocals, backing vocals, Electric Bass Guitar, Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Additional musicians are subject to availability within the team and includes keyboard, accordion, saxophone, violin, female vocalist and additional electric guitar. PA and lighting are included with virtual DJ provided when the band are on a break. The band were formed in 2009 and are highly respected on the circuit having played well over 200 weddings inside many of Scotlands finest venues; Hopetoun House, the Balmoral, Royal Botanical Gardens, Royal College of Physicians to name a few. We have an extensive corporate portfolio inc Forth 1 Radio, Standard Life, John Menzies PLC, ATG Theatre & Ticket Group, Avant Homes, Hickory Bars, British Army, Gillespie Macandrew Legal, Charles River, Cancer Card, Steedman & Company, Pure Malt. Klones were resident band at the Jam House Edinburgh for over 4 years until it’s closure in 2020 during Covid. Klones continue to be recommended wedding supplier to Dynamic Earth, Kingsknowe Castle, Cormiston Farm, Boreland Loch Tay and Dunglass Estate. Klones have played events for sporting professionals Ian Woosnam (Golf), Josh Taylor (Boxing), Willie Thorn (Snooker), Kyle Baker (Football), TV & Radio personalities Arlene Stuart (Landward, Forth 1), Alex Oleksy (BBC The Traitors 3), Grant Stott (BBC Radio Scotland), Andy Bouglas (Boogie in the morning, Forth 1), shared stages and billing with multi-platinum selling artists The Real Thing (2017), The Skids (2018) and British Country Music award winner Kezia Gill (2023). We can learn your first dance for your wedding at no additional cost or play the artist track via our state of the art Bose PA. Quotation is based upon a midnight finish. The running order of a typical wedding finishing at 12am will be something like: Arrival - 6:30pm Setup Completed - 7:30pm Cake Cutting - 7:45pm First Dance - 7:50pm First Set - 7:55pm Break for Buffet - 9:30pm Second Set -10:15pm Finish - 12:00am This is just an idea of standard wedding times and we can rearrange things accordingly if required. We would also supply music through our PA system prior to playing once we are set up and during the buffet break, so there is no need to worry about the expense of a DJ to fill these times. We can also offer a later finish but this will incur additional costs and again is dependant on the number of musicians hired to perform.
