About the Artist

21-year-old singer-songwriter Lottie Gray spent most of her childhood nurturing her imagination, conjuring stories from her bedroom on the south Norfolk coastline, where she grew up. Creating an intimate, open conversation between audience and artist, Gray writes exactly how she feels. Influenced by the prolific Joni Mitchell, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves, Lottie's ability to jump across genres has taken her songwriting to extraordinary heights. Blending elements of Americana and pop, her creations boast raw and poetic lyric writing, expressed through Lottie's powerful vocals. Lottie’s debut EP, ‘How to Haunt’, released in April 2023, is fearless, honest and raw, described as ‘an astoundingly impressive debut offering’ and praised for its ‘impeccable, lyrically pointed and powerful’ songwriting. With a newly formed band in Manchester, playing venues such as Retro, Band on the Wall and 33 Oldham Street, Lottie is poised to share her work with a wider audience. Her music now takes a new dimension, emphasising sweeping melodies and a beat that pulses with the human heart. Whilst also working on her original material, Lottie has performed regularly as a solo singer and her function set, which includes a variety of popular covers. Her covers set is equally mesmerising with Lottie's agile and versatile vocals paired with bouncy and fun guitar arrangements.
