Join us at The Botanist Exeter for an evening of live indie pop and rock with talented solo artist Mike Lumb. Drawing from a brilliant mix of 90s and 00s favourites—think The Kooks, The Wombats, and Kate Bush—Mike delivers engaging acoustic performances that keep the crowd coming back. With over three years' experience performing at venues across the South West, he knows how to create a memorable night out.
Mike will be performing two 45-minute sets with a 15-minute break, accompanied by professional sound equipment to ensure crystal-clear acoustics. Whether you're after feel-good indie anthems, rock classics, or something a bit different, song requests are always welcome, so don't be shy about shouting out your favourites.
Settle in with a cocktail or some of our hearty food and roasts whilst soaking up the atmosphere at this friendly bar and restaurant on Exeter's High Street. It's the perfect way to spend an evening out with good company, great music, and that warm Botanist welcome.

An acoustic indie pop/rock musician who covers artists such as The Kooks, The Wombats, Kate Bush, Bon Jovi, and more. Mike has over 3 years of experience in the live music industry, previously performing at restaurants, bars, pubs, weddings, festivals, holiday parks and private functions. 2 x 45min sets with a 15min break as standard. Professional sound equipment is provided. Song requests are always welcome. Please note that there are solo, duo, trio and full acoustic band options available.
