Atanas Dochev is a professional multi-percussionist and drummer based in Manchester, UK, with 20+ years of experience and 1800+ performances worldwide. Trained at The Purcell School in London (accepted at 14, 1st place winner in classical percussion at the 2011 International Music Competition for German and Austrian Music) and graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) with a Bachelor’s in Orchestral, World Percussion, and Drum Kit. He delivers infectious grooves and dynamic energy on drum kit, congas, bongos, djembe, cajón, and more—spanning classical, Latin, world, pop, rock, funk, and electronic styles. High-profile credits include The Lion King UK Tour (percussionist), Glastonbury Festival, Latitude Festival, BBC Radio 6 Music live with Marc Riley, Bethlehem Casuals, and his Salsa Norte band.
