DJ Nic Kozubik CURRENT RESIDENCIES and regular slots: Cottonopolis, Tariff & Dale, Peaky Blinders, NQ64, Crazy Pedros, Alberts Schloss, Ply, Ramona, FireHouse, Diecast... NIC has a relentless passion for music, aiming to perfect many stylistic sound-scapes to suit many different party environments and confidently embracing his preferred musical genres: - -HipHop/R&B. -Funk/Soul/Disco. -African/Latin/World. - DiscoEdits/House . -Reggae/Dancehall. -Rock/Pop. Completing a Degree in Popular Music and Recording, Nic specialized in ethnomusicology and music performance, securing an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of musicology, music theory and technology - creating an obvious advantage to the roll of a DJ. After signing a recording contract with Sony, Nic released music internationally and even achieved BBC Radio 1's coveted 'Record of the week' accolade, after the debut single went viral with over 1 million hits within the first five days of release. He has toured and gigged with the likes of Blur, Bastille (two sold out UK arena tours), Clean Bandit, Rudimental, Ladyhawke, Soul2Soul, Ella Eyre, London Grammar and John Newman. Gigging at some of Manchester's top clubs and bars, Nic's other performance highlights include Japan's FujiRock festival, Isle of Wight Festival, Camden Crawl, The Great Escape Festival, Dot to Dot Festival, Love Box, Boardmaster, Beach Fest, Live at Leeds and Kendal Calling.
