Nony B
About this event
Nony B brings his distinctive musical vision to Dahlia Stereo, blending decades of sonic inspiration into an unforgettable evening. Drawing from jazz, soul, house, techno, Afrobeat and beyond, this Manchester-based DJ and producer crafts sets that honour UK sound system culture whilst exploring the deeper currents of 90s deep house, Detroit techno and dusty hip hop. With influences spanning from Ron Trent to Kerri Chandler, Nony B's approach stays rooted in musicianship and crate-digging precision.
This multi-instrumentalist and sound designer brings more than club expertise to the decks. Alongside his production work and soundtrack compositions, Nony B has scored for film and visual art projects across the UK, bringing that same thoughtful, layered approach to live performance. Expect grooves that move through decades of dance music history, filtered through an artist committed to connecting sound with something deeper.
Join us for an evening of house, garage, funk, Afro, disco and electronica, as Nony B takes listeners on a journey through the musical landscapes that have shaped his ear. Whether you're here for the deep house, the UKG, or simply the music, this is a night built on genuine sonic exploration.

More Information
FKA Ardstepz From a jazz and classical background, Nony B has developed a sound that stays true to UK sound system culture while reaching into the musical depths of 90s deep house, Detroit techno, New York house, Afro, disco, funk, highlife, UKG and dusty hip hop. There are echoes of Ron Trent, Kerri Chandler and Robert Hood in the groove and feel, but always filtered through Nony B’s own lens as a musician and producer. Having grown up on a musical diet of jungle, dubstep and Hessle-influenced club sounds, this multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer has been digging deep ever since — not only for rare records, but also for new ways to connect sound and image. Alongside club music, Nony B writes soundtracks and works as a sound designer, most recently scoring a short film for Hetain Patel’s Come As You Really Are exhibition, currently touring the UK.
