Nony B brings his eclectic, boundary-pushing sound to Ramona for an unmissable night of music. Drawing from jazz, funk, Afrobeat, deep house and everything in between, this Manchester-based DJ and producer crafts sets that honour UK sound system culture whilst exploring the depths of 90s house, Detroit techno and beyond. Expect grooves inspired by the likes of Ron Trent and Kerri Chandler, filtered through Nony B's distinctive musical vision.
With roots in jungle, dubstep and club music, Nony B is a multi-instrumentalist and producer who's constantly digging for rare records and fresh sonic territory. His work spans club sets, film soundtracks and sound design, most recently scoring for Hetain Patel's Come As You Really Are exhibition. This is a chance to experience his carefully curated blend of soul, disco, garage, techno, hip hop and ambient sounds in an intimate setting.

FKA Ardstepz From a jazz and classical background, Nony B has developed a sound that stays true to UK sound system culture while reaching into the musical depths of 90s deep house, Detroit techno, New York house, Afro, disco, funk, highlife, UKG and dusty hip hop. There are echoes of Ron Trent, Kerri Chandler and Robert Hood in the groove and feel, but always filtered through Nony B’s own lens as a musician and producer. Having grown up on a musical diet of jungle, dubstep and Hessle-influenced club sounds, this multi-instrumentalist, DJ and producer has been digging deep ever since — not only for rare records, but also for new ways to connect sound and image. Alongside club music, Nony B writes soundtracks and works as a sound designer, most recently scoring a short film for Hetain Patel’s Come As You Really Are exhibition, currently touring the UK.
