Richie Furness

I’m Richie Furness, a Liverpool-based DJ and event host with 25 years’ experience playing bars, clubs, festivals and private events. My sets span disco, funk, soul, house, hip-hop, R&B, UK garage and classics from the 80s, 90s and 00s. Whether it’s a laid-back afternoon session or a packed dancefloor, I know how to read a room and build the music around the crowd. I play both digital and vinyl, with an extensive record collection ideal for disco, funk and soulful sessions. My experience includes Chibuku, Abandon Silence, Africa Oyé and a long-standing role as a Bongo’s Bingo host and DJ, including regular shows at Manchester’s Albert Hall. I’m equally comfortable behind the decks and on the microphone, bringing personality, confidence and audience interaction when the occasion calls for it. Available for regular residencies, one-off bookings, daytime parties, corporate events and private celebrations.
