About the Artist

Solly is a 25 year-old independent, classically trained, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, currently based in Hastings. His musical style encompasses a blend of Soul and Jazz, defined by rich, expressive vocals, and a warm mix of electric guitar and keyboard. Particularly inspired by Amy Winehouse, Jeff Buckley and Miss Lauren Hill while still reflecting modern artists like Leon Bridges, Daniel Caesar, Tom Misch and Frank Ocean. Since graduating with a Honours degree in Music at Leeds Art University, Solly teaches music (piano, guitar and vocals) alongside building a professional career in the industry. Writing, developing and performing original material as both a solo artist and a session musician. Stylistically versatile and unique; with a smooth yet powerful tone that creates the perfect atmosphere for intimate listening and refined background music alike.
