More Information
Sophie Joy is a DJ and vocalist with a deep love for all forms of music. Her sets are a vibrant blend of timeless classics and cutting-edge sounds, drawing inspiration from legendary venues like Paradise Garage and Club Shelter.. Her dynamic performances have taken her to renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, including Glitterbox Ibiza, Creamfields, Ministry of Sound, Koko, and Defected Croatia. Following a landmark 2024 where she supported Honey Dijon and performed at Homobloc, 2025 proved to be a defining year. Sophie returned to the Meat Rack at Glastonbury’s NYC Downlow, with her set being selected for Block 9’s "best of the best" mix series. She rounded off the year headlining the final ‘Feel It’ at O’Meara before the night’s move to XOYO. As she moves into 2026, Sophie is evolving her sound by incorporating more of her own live vocals into her sets and production. Having spent years as a session vocalist working across house, R&B, and soul, she is now bridging the gap between her vocal performance and electronic music creation. Beyond the decks, Sophie shares her infectious energy and expertly curated selections through regular shows on Brighton’s 1BTN and Data Transmission. She also co-produces ‘Party People Society’, a POC and Queer-led event celebrating the roots and ethos of house music. With unwavering passion and dedication, Sophie Joy creates an irresistible atmosphere where the music moves you and the smiles are contagious.
