Steve Lowis brings his acoustic guitar and distinctive songwriting to The Boundary Reading for an evening of timeless classics and original material. With over 25 years of live performance experience, this Southampton-based solo artist crafts a setlist that spans five decades of music, from the 50s to present day. His influences range from Paul Simon and Neil Young to Bill Withers and Johnny Cash, creating a warm, engaging sound that resonates with audiences of all ages.
Whether you're a fan of pop, rock, soul, or indie music, Steve's eclectic repertoire delivers something for everyone. His own album 'Chapters' earned a place in the National Library's audio vault and has received regular radio airplay, whilst he continues to craft fresh material for his upcoming EP 'Second Hand Books'. More Information
For over 25 years Steve has been performing popular cover sets to audiences in pubs, restaurant's, private parties, festivals and weddings. As an acoustic guitarist and songwriter his music caters for all generations, playing an array of songs from the 50's to the present day. His style has mainly been inspired by Paul Simon, Bill Withers, Neil Young, Tracey Chapman and Johnny Cash, though his love of music takes inspiration from many genres. Steve has also been performing and writing his own material and released his own album 'Chapters' in 2017 which was selected to be included in the National Library's audio vault and has has gained regular airplay on Bulgarian, local and national radio. He is currently working on his next EP 'Second Hand Books'.
