The Cover Babes are coming to The Wharf in Castlefield, bringing their fantastic guitar-led covers experience to Manchester. This Manchester-based duo specialise in vocal harmonies and a sprawling repertoire spanning six decades of music – from timeless rock and roll through to modern pop, indie, country, folk and everything in between. Whether you're after 60s classics, 70s funk, 80s and 90s anthems, or contemporary hits, The Cover Babes deliver a night of music for all tastes.
The Wharf is the perfect setting for live music, with intimate nooks and cosier spaces downstairs where you can enjoy a selection of cask ales, an impressive gin menu, or quality whiskies from the bar. If you prefer a more relaxed dining experience, head upstairs to the restaurant for full table service and seasonally-changing menus. The venue's spacious terrace overlooking the canal basin is a beloved Manchester spot – ideal for taking in the atmosphere before or after the performance.

Although the Wharf is a large building, there are innumerable nooks and crannies so you can find cosy, intimate rooms and alcoves, or more buzzy, dynamic areas if you prefer. Downstairs is more pub service in style, with several cask ales on the bar, a decent wine list with something for everyone, forty gins and over a fifty malts. Upstairs is more restaurant, with full table service. Our chefs develop really cracking menus which change frequently to reflect the seasons. We have a large terrace which is a really popular place to eat in Manchester with stunning views out over the canal basin.
