The Weltones

The Weltones are an adventurous violin & guitar duo, rewiring classic songs with jazzy twists and epic folk-rock ambition. Michael honed his versatile vocals over 23 years touring with a cappella group The Magnets, while Emma’s improvisational agility sprinkles stardust on their innovative arrangements. ‘We like every song to be an event’, Michael says, ‘whether it is a musical restyling, a story or a sing-a-long. We always try to take people somewhere fun and somewhere new.’ Moondance - Van Morrison Summertime - George Gershwin The Joker - Steve Miller Band True - Spandau Ballet Hallelujah I Love Her So - Ray Charles Can’t Get You Out of My Head - Kylie My Girl - The Temptations Valerie - Amy Winehouse Call Me Al - Paul Simon Jump - Van Halen Mojo Workin’ - Muddy Waters Tainted Love - Soft Cell Let Me Entertain You - Robbie WiSuspicious Minds - Elvis Presley Sign Your Name - Terrence Trent D’arby All Shook Up - Elvis Presley Dakota - Stereophonics Everybody Wants to Rule the World -Tears for Fears Rocks - Primal Scream Take On Me - A-ha Livin’ On a Prayer - Bon Jovi Eternal Flame - The Bangles Smooth - Santana Feeling Good/Hit the Road Jack/Minnie the Moocher Medley Highway to Hell - AC/DC Money (That’s What I Want) You & Me Song - Wannadies Don’t Look Back in Anger - Oasis Baby One More Time - Britney Spears Weather With You - Crowded House One Day Like This - Elbow Respect - Erasure ABBA Medley Here I Go Again - Whitesnake Champagne Supernova - Oasis Sit Down - James Don’t Dream It’s Over - Crowded House Hope that I don’t fall in love with you - Tom Waits Power of love - Huey Lewis & the News Always the Last to Know - Del Amitri Counting Starms - One Republic Crazy Crazy Nights - Kiss Downtown Train - Tom Waits/Rod Stewart I Don’t Like Mondays - Boomtown Rats Runaway - The Corrs Don’t Go - Hothouse Flowers Autumn Leaves - Jazz Standard Crazy Love - Van Morrison Irish Rover - The Pogues Georgia on My Mind - Ray Charles Drops of Jupiter - Train Galway Girl - Steve Earle Dirty Old Town - Dubliners Dancing in the Moonlight - Toploader Fisherman’s Blues - Waterboys She’s Not There - The Zombies Abracadabra - Steve Miller Band Leaving of Liverpool Belle of Bellefast City Whiskey in a Jar Whole of the Moon - The Waterboys Dancing in the Dark - Bruce Springsteen Not 19 Forever - The Courteeners
