This Manchester-based soloist and session musician has honed her craft through years of dedication to the steelpan scene, from performing at London's Notting Hill Carnival to competing in National Panorama competitions. Now pursuing music full-time, Zola brings authentic passion and musical excellence to every performance, whether playing as background ambiance or taking centre stage.
For those keen to enhance their evening with live music, Zola can be positioned anywhere within the venue thanks to her portable speaker system, or she can work with the venue's existing PA setup. MUSICAL SERVICE: The act includes playing & improvising over popular songs & backing tracks. I can provide the speaker if required - this means I can be set up anywhere in the venue as background music! (Speaker: Portable BOSE S1 Pro) Setlists can be tailored to suit the style of the event. (Repertoire of over 70 songs of all genres) I can also improvise live alongside a DJ in club-style settings VENUE REQUIREMENTS (OPTIONAL) A PA System 1x Microphone 1x Microphone Stand. www.zolatec.co.uk BIOGRAPHY Born in Leicester, Ayeshah connected with the steelpan scene aged 6 at the African Caribbean Centre. Aged 15 she joined Contrast Steel Band, and went onto play London Notting Hill Carnival and National Panorama Competitions - uniting with Real Steel and Metronomes Steel Band. After moving to Manchester in 2021 to pursue a career in fashion merchandising, she realized her true calling was to create music. In 2023, busking allowed her the exposure to start a solo career (a path currently being pathed with each gig!).
